How do you write a cultural profile?
All content in the Cultural Atlas is the result of a collective effort by Mosaica’s team of experienced researchers, editors, translators, and members of the Australian community from diverse backgrounds, identities, or familiarities.
Mosaica is committed to magnifying the integrity of the research that underpins our published work. All content and information on the Cultural Atlas is based on primary research from reputable sources, with source materials referenced within the site. Every resource is reviewed by multiple third-party experts and editors, with translators engaged where relevant.
As part of our approach, researchers seek input from informed community members through interviews and site visits. Community members are also presented with the written text to review and provide any feedback. This process ensures that all information is verified by those who identify with each culture and religion.
We would particularly like to acknowledge the contribution of these community members and organisations throughout Australia, who took the time and effort to share their knowledge and lived experience of each culture and religion. See the list of collaborators.
Following community engagement, every profile is then reviewed by multiple third-party experts and editors. The finished profile is submitted to SBS partners, who provide final approval for publication.
